sistas

i was so happy to have my cute sis come visit me this weekend. i wanted to do something fun and memorable, so i got us a reservation at miss molly's tea house...so we could have a tea party! it was so much fun, and the food was so yummy. it was a bit sentimental because we used to have tea parties together all the time as girls...it's fun to be a little girl at heart and enjoy a good tea party. i love my sister too much for words. we are so close...and i feel lucky to have her in my life as sister and friend. i once saw the quote i put above (" i loved you too much to just be your friend, so God let me be your sister" ) and that totally describes how i feel about her. i dearly hope that someday we will live by each other. some boy better not steal her too far away from me! any hoo...LOVE HER, and i'm so glad we got to have a fun sleepover this weekend.

How fun! I sure love my sisters too and love doing things with them. Glad that you're one of the sisters in our family now.

Just look at you two beauties... Your poor dad - he must have had to chase the boys aways with a stick as you were growing up! lol

I am really getting excited about seeing you SOON!

Thanks so much for the amazing weekend! It was so nice that I could have some time with just you. I loved every minute of the weekend. What a good mommy and wife you are lara. I will look at this post over and over and so you'd better send me the pictures soon. Thanks for being the best siter I could ever ask for. You know, if I were to create or hand pick a perfect sister for me, I would still pick you. I love you and next time, hopefully, I won't cry the whole plane ride home. Good-byes are so hard...but they won't keep me from visiting again.

So glad she could visit! I WISH I had a sister too. You are lucky, and Ms. Katie is definitely a keeper. I'm sure that Jack and Gracie had fun with her there too! She's so good with them.

That post was so CUTE! I just love your blog with all your great photos and creativity. It looks like you two had so much fun. I just feel fortunate that I have sisters. I feel so bad for girls that don't. You two are GORGEOUS! I'm so glad you had a tea party together. My sisters and I did that when we were in New York - we went to serendipity and we felt like we were living our childhood again - so fun!
