drink-this-nasty-greasy-stuff-and-sit-on-the-toilet-for-6-hours kind of desperate...to no avail. so, like 25 people told me to use this as a last resort, but that it worked to induce labor...welp, i'm here to tell you that it didn't for me. {i do have a mighty clean colon though!}
i have tried EVERYTHING!!! from walking 2 miles a day, to running 10 sets of bleachers, to having my membranes stripped!
COME ON BABY!!!!
my mom comes in on sunday and has to leave on saturday...can he PLEASE come while she is here??!!
put a good one in for me in your prayers...i've been really good...i need to not be pregnant any more. and i really want my mom to not miss this baby being born...
is this too much to ask? seriously?

It will happen! Good thoughts are sent your way :)
that stuff looks nasty!! Will your dr. not induce you? Good luck with everything...I hope he comes soon:)
I can't believe you did the ol' Castor oil trick! I never had to try it, but I've heard the stories. I'm so sorry you haven't had him yet! You will soon I'm sure, the last days are SO hard! I went to that quilt shop in Richfield today....SOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! I am SO mad I've never been to it before! They had super cute stuff, and good prices, and I totally want to live in Richfield. So after you have your little man and feel better we'll have to hit up Richfield. Let me know if you need ANYTHING! We are staying here for another few weeks before we head out so we're here to help! -Al
Oh my! I so wish that castor oil had worked for you! We'll try just praying now. Kristen had her little girl the day after my mom got there. Maybe he's just waiting for his nana!:)
hang in there!! we are thinking of you!
I tried drinking red raspberry leaf tea as well - supposed to help with uterine function (if you want just one more thing to try... :) Of course, nothing worked for Tanner and he came 5 days late after a foley tube induction (I definitely prefer that to drug-induced, by the way - much more gentle on the baby and you - you may want to ask your doc. about it as an alternative if you get to that point... but that's just my all natural philosophy coming through!), but at least I felt like we had tried everything possible ourselves! Good luck and hang in there!
try dehydrating yourself for a 24 hour period. your body will release a natural form of potosen. it will not harm your baby because if it induces labor they will pump you full of fluids in the hospital. but, if after 24 hours you have not gone into labor then drink some fluids just to be safe. this has worked for everyone that i know.
You're awfully brave to try the castor oil! Hope that baby comes soon for your sake.
Oh my gosh, I totally hear you! I was just praying for it to be over! Never tried the Castor Oil though...you must be feelin desperate! heehee! Let us know what the little one arrives! :)
yep...so sounds like me each pregnancy! You name the wives tale and I've tried it...I just think our babies like to get really prepared for this whole mortal experience and try to gather as much from Heavenly Father that they can before coming to meet us! Hang in there girl...he'll be here soon and you'll be able to inhale that fresh from heaven newborn smell all day long! Lots of prayers coming your way!! xo
i don't know what to tell you girl. this baby just has a mind of his own. i have been praying for you but i guess my prayers aren't helping. i hope he comes soon! maybe i'll give your dr. a talkin to. ha! can't wait to hear that he is on his way!
so the two things i have heard that work are....to do (you know what) twice in 24 hrs (not sure for how many days), and to pump. good luck! i get induced in on the 25th and there is no way i could ever drink castor oil, so props to you for trying!
I am hoping since you haven't posted since Friday means you have had your baby. Crossing my fingers for you. I can't wait to see a picture of your beautiful baby boy.
I still can't believe you drank castor oil. lol. Anyone who drinks that stuff deserves the baby to be born. Yuck.
Oh Lara...I hope that he comes very soon!
