3 ingredients to goodness...

{1 - 15oz jar of pumpkin}
{1 box spice cake mix}
{1 cup of mini chocolate chips}
{3 dozen yummy pumpkin chocolate chip cookies}

no joke! that's all folks...i like to call this kind of recipe a "fake it" recipe...like you are faking that you are exactly like a perfect, martha stewart, homemaker.
here's how you "fake it":
blend cake mix and pumpkin until cake mix is all mixed in.
add the chocolate chips.
spoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
bake at 350 for 15 min.
voila....perfection!
{and they are super low-fat! so you can eat 5 instead of only 1! and believe me, you'll want to!} thanks steph for the recipe!

Oh, the yumminess! I can't wait to try it! I've been eying the pumpkin cans in my cupboard for a week now, so excited that it's finally time! Now, if I could just find it in me to venture to the store for a spice cake mix...I may just end up making them from scratch because I'm too lazy. Sounds like an oxymoron, I know... But YOU know it's easier to make cookies from scratch than to cart two babies to the store for one item! :o)

Great pictures Lara and good job on the crocheting! I definitely will make a trip to visit you guys in the fall before you move. The colors look amazing there and with so many trees I can only imagine.

I am definitely with you on Fall. It is my favorite time of year, no matter where you are in the country the weather is practically perfect, the food is my favorite (I'm definitely giving those cookies a go) and the clothes. What is not to like :)

Soelberg is right I think you will be the next Martha Stewart, at least in Mormon Land.

These cookies are in the oven right now. I am excited for when they come out in 9 minutes and 13 seconds!

ps. Thanks for the egg-free recipe. Carlee thanks you.

Yum! I made them and gave them all away (except for the five I ate) and then I made them again today. I over cooked them today so I've got to find a yummy frosting recipe to add some moisture to the top of the cookie.
